Demand Strong for Four Bedroom Houses in Noosa Area

Shortage of Four Bedroom Homes in Noosa

Agents at Robert James Realty are reporting a shortage of quality four bedroom houses that meet buyer criteria  in both the rental and sales markets in the Noosa area. Business Development Manager David Denny says ‘when we get the listings for four bedroom rentals we are generally inundated with enquiry from couples and families alike so there is certainly strong demand for that type of product at the moment’. Director Rob Anderson is reporting a similar trend from the sales side of the business. ‘We have registered buyers looking for four bedroom properties in the sub $500 000 price range. Generally speaking if the properties come on the market, they are in reasonable condition, meet the criteria of the buyers, and are correctly presented they are snapped up very quickly’. Recently a four bedroom property in Tewantin with a pool and shed was offered for rent at $495 per week. 14 parties showed up to the first scheduled  inspection, resulting in numerous applications, quality tenants in place and a quick turn around for the owners.
