Noosa Units Sales Growth According to data released by the REIQ, demand and sales for units over the last year has strengthened. For the March quarter, preliminary numbers of units sold had increased by 2 percent. However, in the regions of The Sunshine Coast, Cairns and The Gold Coast the growth was the highest. Data presented from the REIQ unit and townhouse sales volumes on the Sunshine Coast were up 22.6 on the same period last year. There was also a significant increase in the number of unit and townhouse sales in the $350 000 - $500 000 price range. " The popularity of units and townhouses in our major tourist precincts has returned", said the CEO of the REIQ Anton Kardash. “These areas have experienced the highs and lows of the global financial crisis (GFC) and the strength of the Aussie dollar more than most over the past four years, so it is heartening to see them stepping back into the light. “Many of these areas have also become more affordable, even those with unique seaside locations, so this is no doubt spurring buyers into action before the tide has turned to the positive completely.” « Cooroy Real Estate ResultsNoosa Real Estate Cover Star » In Archive Archives June 2022 (1) November 2020 (2) October 2020 (3) September 2020 (4) May 2020 (2) March 2020 (3) February 2020 (1) January 2020 (1) November 2019 (2) August 2019 (1) July 2019 (3) April 2018 (1) March 2018 (3) October 2017 (5) September 2017 (10) August 2017 (6) July 2017 (1) July 2016 (1) May 2014 (3) April 2014 (15) March 2014 (6) February 2014 (7) January 2014 (3) December 2013 (4) November 2013 (5) October 2013 (4) September 2013 (9) August 2013 (7) July 2013 (17) June 2013 (10) May 2013 (19) April 2013 (12) March 2013 (2) February 2013 (5) January 2013 (1) December 2012 (3) November 2012 (3) February 2012 (1)
